Search and Rescue
Established in 1978 by the Trinity Co. Sheriff's Office, our team has specialized training in Dive Ops, Swift Water Rescue, Incident Command Team, Ground Search Team, and Rope Rescue Ops. When called upon, we serve Trinity Co. and the State of California.
Trinity Co. Search and Rescue is staffed with people of various ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. We all share a common interest in serving our community and helping others. Most members are avid outdoors people — climbers, hikers, backpackers, cyclists, and runners. We maintain active membership at around 50 people. ALL volunteers!
SHERIFF'S AUXILIARY
Trinity County Sheriff Auxiliary is composed of upstanding community members who volunteer their time to fulfill many roles requested by the Trinity County Sheriff's Department. Auxiliary members receive training alongside other Sheriff Volunteer Programs such as Search and Rescue, Animal Rescue, and Chaplains.
ANIMAL RESCUE
